SOURCING MANAGER - WOMENSWEAR

We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for an ambitious and hard working Sourcing Manager for Womenswear to join our dynamic Sourcing team here at Brand Machine Group.

You will be accountable for the KPI’s for all Womenswear Brands, USPA, Jack Wills, Franklin & Marshall and Penfield. Drive Growth, Sales, Development and Net Margin. Managing Seasonal Buys, Range outlines, Product development, Sourcing decisions and signing off on Cost prices and margins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan the Womenswear ranges across multiple brands.

  • Plan and select a range of products to be sold to designated customers and through selected Retail channels

  • Planning and forward buying based upon customer demand to fulfil financial budgets by Brand/ Category

  • Source new merchandise and review existing product offer to remain competitive and increase market share

  • Using your network develop and integrate new sources where applicable and in line with BMG growth plans and quality parameters

  • Build close relationships with the merchandising function to drive sales growth

  • Work with Design to plan, develop and prepare new ranges as well as give presentations and direction in what is often a pressurised environment

  • Negotiate best possible prices and buying conditions with current and new vendors

  • Ensure budgeted intake margins are met and exceeded, having knowledge of political situations and currency movements to ensure BMG are in a position to navigate an ever changing landscape

  • Analyse consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends

  • Work closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and QA to direct brand evolution.

  • Liaise with ESG to determine vendor suitability

  • Work with onboarding new suppliers on the developing processes

  • Work with Marketing to ensure brand direction is being portrayed through key media and social media channels

DEADLINES & REPORTING

  • Effectively maintain the Development plan and critical path for all Brands from Range plan and conception to end customer and shop floor

  • Work with Design, Merchandising and Sourcing and manage expectations and key deadlines

  • Monthly reporting on Commodity and MWR in countries of origin

  • Weekly Meeting on team / brand objectives

  • Drive Seasonal reviews by brand pre design Kick Off

  • Ensure Collections are delivered to Showroom within GTM dates agreed with Sales team

  • Monthly meeting with Retail to gather feedback on performance and analyse all act upon all problems

PROCESS

  • Critical Path Management

  • Workload management

  • Monitor and analyse product Range Plans season by season

  • Develop close working, constructive relationship with other departments at BMG and the BMG supply base

  • Ensure Brand quality levels are being Met and exceeded

  • Analyse Historical sales to ensure Core Category sales are covered

  • Continually research and analyse competitor and Peers to ensure BMG ranges are on trend and all product growth opportunities are being explored

  • Mange design process of New product and category development

  • Drive product development

  • Use Brand/Category budgets to ensure Range plans / SKU offer is sufficient to realise and exceed targets

  • Work with key customers to ensure needs are being fulfilled and maximum sales potentialized

  • Undertake initial meetings with Vendors to determine suitability for brands and potential next steps

  • Develop relationship with Retail and E commerce to ensure they are being serviced efficiently and effectively
